So. I haven't been around much lately. Real-life's been keeping me rather busy and stressed, and I haven't really had much in the way of scanner access lately. Still, I have a TON of sketch and such to scan, though sadly they mostly belong in scraps. I do, however, have one exciting thing to talk about.

I've started writing again. After months and months of horrid writer's block, I'm working on Ubiquity again...as well a new side project.

Yes, I'm actually drawing something other than Ubiquity characters now. Sort of.

The new project is a sequel/spin-off of sorts to Ubiquity. It stars a completely new cast and takes place waaaaaay after the events of Ubiquity. As of now, I'm writing it and creating the bulk of the cast and story, though the ever-awesome has kindly created a few characters and given me input on it, as well as just generally kicking ass at suggestions. As of now, though, I'm the artist.

No, this doesn't mean it'll automatically see comicdom. I'm still wrestling with the idea of doing it, let alone posting it in readable form anywhere. At the most, you'll see sketches, finished works, and possibly short stories on the idea cropping up here on a regular basis. Hell, I don't even have a finalized title for it yet- I'm calling it either "the novel" or "Vagrancy" right now.

I don't know if I want to get too descriptive on explaining the story yet. A huge chunk of it is contingant on the plot of Ubiquity. Still, though, if enough people like it I might consider drawing and posting part of it. I kinda don't see that happening, but the thought is nice, ne? Right now I'm just having fun bouncing around ideas and playing around with changing up my drawing/coloring/inking techniques a little to see if I could actually get around to doodling a few finished comics.

For the record, the story is based on the NaNoWriMo novel I mentioned in my last post.
